OU vs. Baylor Rivalry

As much as I'm annoyed at times with Jenni Carlson, I agree with her words here. Sadly, I don't think we will beat Baylor again anytime soon. Next year, they will be absolutely loaded. Anything can happen, though.

Baylor is and will be the cream of the crop in the Big 12 and competitive on the national level as long as they keep signing top 10 players.

Texas is second now. Their future appears bright with some good young players on board plus Holmes and Sutton joining them this fall. They are in on some great players and, if they sign a couple of them, no one (below them) in the Big 12 is likely to catch them.

OU, along with a couple of other teams, will be in a battle for third place.

So, Jenni is correct, the Baylor vs OU rivalry has fizzled. It is up to Sherri to make it relevant again.
