We are sagging too much in the zone and they are lighting us up on the reversing the ball to the unguarded wing on the weak side.

We have to have something from Vivi and Maddie besides fouls.

UW has shot 13-17 FTs, compared to 3-4 for the Sooners. The Huskies' coach really did big BOO-HOO on that foul late in the first half on his player, when it appeared to me to be a non-issue. An obvious foul on his player. Oh well, you have to put up with some home cooking when you are playing on their floor..

FT discrepancy was 17-4 in the first half.

I worried about having to play on their home court. This difference in FT shots is pretty common in that situation.

Plus the single official from the Big-12 who appears to hate SC gets assigned. If you attend home OU games, you know that many fans realize if they see him, both our team and Sc are in big trouble. I have seen him - on more than one occasion - scream and degrade her on the sideline if she ever disagrees with a call.

I suspect she will be (wisely) intimated from acting unhappy about any calls unless the game is effectively over.

Maddie foul trouble and a no show the rest of the game. Vivi fouls and no fire. Ortiz not shooting, not hitting.

Great three point shooting first half, but the bad Oklahoma has shown up
so far in the second half.

When they get ahead by 20 or so with just 3-4 minutes left, the officials will call several on them and give us a few FT's so it doesn't look so much like a thrown game.

I've seen it so many times.

In fact, that NBA official who went to prison for throwing games explained that process exactly.

That is done to make money. Do you think people that were betting on Washington to win needed the game thrown by the refs? Not how gambling works. Best way to make money is for the underdog to win or for the expected winner to not win by enough to beat the spread. Is that what you are saying that, they are fixing the game in either way which I gave as an example? Curious as to what you mean.
