any thoughts or inside info on why durett logged so few minutes last night and none in the first half?

Neither Durrett or Kornet played very much. My guess is it we because of the style of defense that WVU played. First year D1 players would be more prone to turnovers in that situation.

Not a real suprise. Sherri almost always goes with the more experienced players in a close game. She really meant what she said when she said you only need five. She is very comfortable with a short bench and that is one of the reasons she doesn't use all the scholarships alloted.

Nicole had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 turnovers in 32 minutes of play.
Portia had 0 points, 0 rebounds, and 2 turnovers in 6 minutes of play.

WVU didn't have strong low post presence, so when Jo or Nicole went out of the game it wasn't necessary to have a true post player at the 4. And game circumstances didn't force Jo and Nicole to both be on the bench at the same time.

Portia played well when she was in the game I thought. She had a hand on some rebounds and played pretty good defense.

Griffin has definitely learned how to put a forearm in the back of the opposing center and push her around. She is getting much tougher than she used to be.

She has improved in that phase by 100%. I'm still waiting for someone to snap her in half.
