Prayers for David Boren

David was fortunate that being at the ceremony for Stoops EMSA was on the spot when needed. Rapid medical response to strokes is the key to mitigating repercussions from a stroke.

Had he not been at the ceremony medical response could easily have been 30-45 minutes later and he condition much worse.

On Sunday afternoon, the school released a statement on the 76-year-old president.

“President Boren will be released from the hospital in the coming days and is expected to have a full recovery,” according to a release from OU Senior Associate Vice President for Public Affairs Rowdy Gilbert.
