I just watched the preseason analysis show of Sherri Coale on Soonersports.com TV. It was interesting in that she didn't even mention Sharane and Nicole Kornet. Yet, she posted a graph that listed Kornet and Carter as the two stars of preseason practice. She listed Nicole Griffin and Aaryn Ellenberg as the two most-improved.

Other than Sharane and Kornet, she gave a brief rundown of the other players. She expects a lot from her returning seniors this year, including Portia who she says is quite improved.

She was highest on Gioya, but didn't say a lot about her other than that she and Vegas have already been squaring off. She was very high on the athletic ability of Gibbs, but she says she is raw. She says Gibbs will actually rebound at the rim. She had also forgotten how good Kaylon really was.

She wished Peyton were available now. Says she has fallen in love with T.T., Edwards. Says we will be surprised at all the ways that Derica can score. Shaya will remind us of Joanna.

She did say something that she had not been saying in the other discussions of the rules. She said that pushing and shoving under the basket will also be eliminated.

Mostly, she says that people will have to learn to play with their feet rather than their hands.

She thinks we'll be pretty good if we can avoid injuries. She didn't set any limits and is quite happy with what she has.

Based on seeing the scrimmage live and seeing the two practices on TV, even though that is not much in the grand scheme of things, I pretty much agree with everything she said.
