1. Another great start by Gioya Carter. The outside shot was not falling, but her ability to drive and create easy scoring chances is huge.

2. Peyton Little with another good game. The defense is excellent and the she's hitting from 3 but also taking advantage of the wide open mid range jumpers as well.

3. Kaylon again providing offense inside. She's a force scoring. Much more reliable right now than Griffin was last year.

4. Manning becoming more comfortable. If her outside starts falling, it's going to make OU tough to handle.

5. Some signs of life from Kornet. Excellent stretch of play.

6. Sherri's effective use of the bench. The zone was causing OU some issues. So Sherri brought in Derica to provide more outside shooting. Gabbi got an extended break by Ton'a.

7. For basically a 20 point win, OU didn't play great at times and struggled with the zone. The zone issues are going to give Sherri a nice practice issue.

Kaylon was AWOL in the first half.

A part of the reason that Kay Kay can score effectively is that we can now get the ball inside. We have spent eight years trying to pass the ball inside---turnovers.

Suddenly, we have people like Carter and Manning who can get in the middle at will, leaving Kay Kay wide open under the bucket. She gets so many cripples that she needs to start a home. Since Carter, Gabbi, Peyton, Sharane, and Maddie are threats, they can't survive on simply stopping the post. Kay Kay has room to operate.

All of this began when Carter found that she could get to the middle.
