OU never really had a chance with him, but the kid is a bigtime player. Looks like Rose to UT will be next.

Saw him play twice this year here in Houston. Very smooth, great release, very long, above average athelete, and great range. From all those that know him extremely clutch as he shows up in big games, and has hit late critical shots to carry the load. Wish he were going to OU.

Does anyone else fill that Duke gets away with things that should be recruiting violations. I know there not but the coach K national televised commercials, The All-Access episodes they had on ESPN, and Coach K constantly coaching the USA teams.

I know on some level that he's earned it(and he's not the only coach) but thats a huge advantage in the recruiting world. I was watching the All-Access and I'm thinking to myself after watching it...I want to go to Duke. I know others got 30 mins or so but they got almost 8 hours on there.

NCAA cracks down on too many phone calls...but what about being able to sell your school to potential athletes via television. He's on All-Access, He's on National TV coaching USA, and just how many college coach's get national televised commercials?

Duke didn't offer him for a long time. Duke was his dream school. If not Duke, it would be UT, KU, and OU in that order.

This guy is going to be a stud. Nice get for Duke.

No.

OU's proposed TV network would then deemed be illegal and promote an unfair advantage.

Coach K can make money (i.e. the national team or commericals) anyway he want, he's not bound to just be the bball coach at Duke. No one was complaining about this a few years ago when Duke was struggling in March.

Correct. Also, nobody complained about it when Bob Stoops and the OU football program had the all access show, too, or whatever it was on ESPN.
