Guys don't need a lot of minutes to simply give effort. Someone who's never played a minute before in a game can come in and give effort on the defensive end. It's not as complicated as fitting into the flow of an offensive scheme.

A coach should not have to worry about effort from a kid that doesn't get to play much. The fact he does is probably the best indicator for the reason the minutes are lacking.

Your objection is to people speculating without knowing all the information? More power to you, I say, but you've got an uphill battle if that's the fight you're going to make on this board.

I agree its an uphill battle and its one I won't win, but it simply amazes me how opinionated people are over things they know little to nothing about.
