Some information on a few of our 2015 Post Recruits
Jordan Moore 6’4 plays for Stony Point High School in Round Rock, TX
Her numbers are 15ppg 8rpg 1spg and 2bpg for a 29-8 team. She was the 2012-2013 All Central Texas Girls basketball Newcomer of the year. I think she’s on the same AAU team as Cox, there AAU teams Texas Elite and NT United merged can’t find out what schools she’s interested in but she looks to be a legit top 100 kid. has offers from Texas, Iowa State, and South Carolina.
Ksenija Madzarevic 6’6 played for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, TN last season, but this year she’s playing at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee High School in Rabun Gap, GA. She’s originally from Serbia; her numbers on the season are 8ppg, 1apg, 5rpg, 1spg, and 3bpg. She sounds like a she’s still a little raw but has great size; she wants to play in the WNBA after college.
Theresa Ekhelar 6’6 plays for Life Center Academy in Woodbridge, NJ. She’s a legit 6’6 and likes to run the floor mobile in transition and vocal on defense, she also jumps for rebounds. Has gotten interest from UGA, GT, Lville, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, MSU, Baylor, UK, Miami, Syracuse, Rutgers and UVa and WVU. It’s been reported that Penn State could be the leader for her. I can’t find her stats but she has had a few double doubles this year.
Zada Williams 6’1 plays for Lake Wales High School in Lake Wales, FL, she sounds like a 4/3 wing more then a undersized post her numbers are 13ppg, 12rpg 2bpg 1apg and 2spg. She can jump out of the gym
Her team is 17 – 12 and have a some really bad loses including an 76-18 blowout in the state playoffs where she scored 13 of the teams 17 points.
Ashley Hearn 6’4 plays for Sachse high school in Rowlett, TX. Her numbers are 10ppg, 8rpg, and 2bpg. It’s been said that she has an active motor but can also be inconsistent (saw a video of her, taking plays off) so it sounds like she is going to need to be pushed to take advantage of her talents, nice face-up stroke, great athlete, exceptional transitional player who runs the floor better than most guard. Hoopgurlz said she can be a star in college. She camped at USC and UCLA in 2012
Brook Alexander ‘6 wing/forward plays for PRESTONWOOD CHRISTIAN in PLANO, TX. Her team is 24-9. I can’t find any stats for her but she plays on the same AAU team as Cox and Jordan Moore. Can’t find any schools she’s looking at but she was voted MVP of a Texas a&m summer camp. She also attended the home opener for UT.
Nora Keisler the 6’6 Kentucky is a heavy Louisville lean.
Hearn and Alexander would be a great 2015 class, but if we can take 3 then Theresa Ekhelar could be what some of us were hoping Griffin would be/ become, a 6’6 post player who can jump and get off the floor. Zada Williams would allow Sherri to stick with a 4 guard line up, she can rebound but can also put the ball on the floor, we have been hitting the state of Florida hard recruiting, I could see Williams becoming a Sooner. Hearn seems to be the only elite recruit were looking at but the Summer AAU season should change girls rankings.
Hailey Tucker sounds like a big guard with range, what's her level of competition like?
