Could Kelaini play hoops next year as a grad student or does her 4 years in softball preclude that? Thinking of Big Ben's sister who played 1 year of volleyball after using up her BB years.
Kelaini was the Player of the Year in the Bay area as a Sr at Mitty HS. Certainly not in the same class player-wise but a fierce competitor like Whitney and a powerful athlete at 6'2 plus. And her attitude is an A plus.

I am not sure if she could play a year of basketball or not. Unless she had D-1 offers in basketball I doubt she would do us much good.

Let's recruit basketball players, that is if we want to win in Basketball???

Just to answer the original question, the rule is once you play in any sport, you have 5 years to complete 4 years of eligibility in apparently as many sports as you want. So if Kelaini completed her softball eligiblity in 4 years, she would have one year left to compete in any other sport (or sports).
