Nice road win Ladies - this group is showing a lot of guts without several of their teammates who are injured.

Boomer Sooner Ladies

Does this sound familiar? Kansas beat West Virginia 60-59 in Morgantown with Palmer hitting her fourth three at the buzzer to bring WV to within one. WV had 27 fouls resulting in Kansas hitting 23 of 34 free throws. Both teams had 24 turnovers.

Interesting! Guess they haven't learned how to play without fouling in the Big 12 yet. But I kinda think that's the way they play all the time. They had a group of about 10 players that were pretty close in ability and interchangable and that is Carey's style to pressure, pressure, pressure and if you foul, we have others to put in and keep that pace. They aren't as good as A&M at playing that way yet.

I watched a little bit of the ND/UConn game today during the timeouts in the men's game. It was a very physical game, but when I was watching i didn't see either team running through screeners and knocking other players to the floor in the process.

West Virginia lost today to Kansas, the same way. In spite of Taylor Palmer's 24 points, Kansas was 23-34 at the line, while WVU was 10-14.
