I like having him catch at the top of the key and take his man off the bounce. Wish we had gone to that earlier against the cats.

Agree...Most big men in the big 12 will have a hard time stopping it. It will most likely get them in foul trouble as well.

I think the ball needs to run through him.

If he did that with Pledger on the right wing behind the 3 point line and M'Baye on the left low block and Hield on the top left behind the 3 point line (maybe float over after Romero starts his move), how do you defend it? It would make Osby one on one with a clear advantage. If help comes from the right wing it gives OU's best 3 pointer an open look. If help comes from M'Baye's man and Osby can make the pass it results in a dunk. I would think that would create a lot of problems for most teams.

Also surprised we did not do more of that earlier and more often. I think the whole team loosened up a bit late in the game though (and perhaps their defensive also loosened up a little).

I am glad we get Monday night at home. We need to win that one. If we lock down on D we can definitely create problems for them.

That's an advantageous scenario for us. Once we begin having success in a set like that, I would expect the other coach, if he has a brain, to go zone on us. Because like you described, there are four scoring options on the floor and Osby can take any big man in the conference off the dribble.
