As well as Reaves played in the first half he was awful in the second. He made 1 shot, scored 4 points. 0-3 from 3, had 5 turnovers in the second half, including one of the dumbest plays you will ever see.

On the "wtf" are you doing play he was in that "hell bent" mode to get the shot and when that failed he lost his cool. We got "avalanched" on that play.

This... The Big 12 is total trash. I have no idea why its highly rated, but it will be exposed in the tournament. Kansas is the goods as usual.. but WVU, OU, Texas, TCU, etc... Come on. Not sure any of those teams would win the American.

At this point the odds suggest we probably will miss the tourney. While I do think a win at TCU likely clinches a bid, we will be underdogs in that game. And if we lose, we probably need at least one win in B12 tourney.

Another season, another year of Lon not finishing above .500 in the league.

Getting tired of that. I don't care what the league is rated, it's DOWN this year, and we still can't finish above .500. Been healthy all year. No excuses.

I'm growing tiresome of our mediocrity in conference, but I'm not blaming Lon for this one. Guys played hard, but still didn't match the toughness of Texas at times. And at some point, you have to make shots and FTs. I blame Lon for games like KSU, ISU and OSU where we were the better team and basically layed down.

It is amazing how far the sport has fallen. I mean HIDEOUS basketball. Put the ball through the hoop! We outscored them by 19 from the line....and lost! Never dreamed that could be possible.

In the first half we got 6 points on 2 three point shots. The rest of the offense produced 20 points.

It was a perfect storm at the end -- an awful way to lose. But we could have lost by 15 the way we were shooting and the guys toughed it out; they just couldn't put it away. I'm sick about it like everyone else, but I'll guarantee that no one feels worse about it than Manek and, especially, Doo.

It’s not on reaves but his basketball iq is non existent. It’s the difference between him being a solid college player and being a pro.

This game was pretty emblematic of the season... team played hard in terms of physical effort and their discipline on defense is to be commended— they don’t foul and they don’t give up open shots— and for a small team, they contest a lot of shots too. But offensively? OMG, what a complete mess. It’s a total disaster and it hasn’t gotten better as the year has progressed. Just a really tough team to watch.

Not "DESERVING" to win doesn't mean you don't take the win.

Wonder how many teams have won a home game this year shooting in the 20's and taking more than 20 more FT's than the other team. Care to guess?

This was a bizarre game... it just felt nasty. OU makes basically nothing. Nearly half the points from the line. Flops, phantom calls, etc. The only foul shots UT gets are on the dumb Reaves play, so basically 25-0 at the line which hasn't happened in the Big 12 since 2008. We all know lots of those calls were totally phantom. It just felt icky.

Feel bad for Doolittle though. I have a feeling he's going for 30 on TCU.

His point is whether or not the conference is down or not compare to lets say last year, for example. This question is not really answered by comparing the conference to other conferences.

I don’t think so. I don’t think 18-14 overall is going to get it done. I believe OU needs one more win (and it can’t just be the play-in game for B12, which is still possible).

He doesn't have the talent to be a pro. He will play in Europe IF he can shoot better. He does all the flopping, herky jerky non-sense because he doesn't have the game.
