Last night I was so disappointed in how our ladies played at Baylor in fact I stopped watching the game with under 7 mins to go. I was thinking about what needs to be done to improve this team and since I'm no coach and never have been it may just be my love for OU that is coming out.

First let me say I can't stand the Wicked Witch of Waco, she has so intimidated the official that they are afraid to make a call against her team. The officials did not beat us last night we beat ourselves.

Wicked Witch of Waco instills a killing attitude in her players they don't stop until the blood is all over the floor, we don't have that killer attitude and I think that is one of the problems.

Second Sherri is to easy on the officials, why not jump on them loud and let the know that she is unhappy with or without the call. W W of W yells at everything the officials do or don't do and they is why they are intimidated.

Last night the turn overs killed us, at the beginning of the game our first three processions were turnover not caused by Baylor but by our own players they just didn't have control of the ball. The talking heads, who by the way were all Baylor fans, stated the OU averages 19 turn overs per game. Sherri should develop an attitude that if you (the player) can't control the ball then someone on the bench will take your spot. Sherri is to easy on them from that aspect.

Don't get me wrong I don't want Sherri gone, she has done more for this team than anyone could have thought about 20 years ago. I think somethings need to be changed, attitudes need adjusting and player need to be held accountable for the lack of play.

Just some thoughts from an old man who loves his Sooners and wants them to beat the hell out of the Wicked Witch of Waco.

It was awful. Looked like beginners, fundamentals were completely lacking. Carter was out of control, looking like she did as a freshman. Never squared her shoulders to the basket. Kay Kay had trouble just gathering the ball. I thought we tried to do either too much or too little.

With just 7 points, we went stone cold for a long time enabling Baylor to break out to a 25 point lead. From that point on we played them fairly even. Frankly, Baylor isn't that impressive and don't deserve a 1 seed.

Mulkie is really obnoxious. Working the refs, smirking at their calls, walking on the court all with a 25 point lead is classless.

I thought it was great that Coale put the sophs out there. They outplayed the upperclassmen. I though she should have benched 3 of the starters early in the first half and left them there. No leadership from Sharane or Kay Kay. One of them should have gotten in Carter's face and told her to get under control, play smart.
