Jacob Hammond- We are fortunate to part ways. OU decision to pull ship
Zo Trier- No thanks. Wasn't even best guard at Camp. Head case. Zero defense
Omega Harris- OU has backed off, flashes of star, flashes of Avg Hs SG.

I agree. Mitch Solomon is the only good option in state this year.


Dante Buford and Solomon would be HUGE.
 
I still think Omega could grow as a player under this staff and play defense and become more consistent. That said i'm not gonna lose any sleep not signing him. Hammond and Trier, i'm glad Kruger reevaluated and decided to go different directions.
 
Why is ESPN so high on Trier (36th in 2015) and now we are not? Something is missing, like an evaluation of his character?

I don't know. His size really hurts him. He hasn't grown anymore and LK and staff probably won't take anymore 6'0 guards till Woodard is a jr/sr. They won't play them together.
Hammonds parents are his biggest enemy. They aren't handling his recruitment or future very well.

I'm not sure if we have 3 or 4 scholarships since Avila isn't even on the roster.
 
I'm still hearing really good things about shake Milton from Owasso. But I haven't seen him play personally yet...
 
Hammond is on an official at Nebbish this weekend.
 
All of you are entitled to your opinon, the kid whos defense I will come to is Omega Harri the kid can flat out play, he plays hard on both ends of the court he is going to play ball and he will get an education that is the most important thing. The college choice is up to Omega and his family. None of you. Have a good day folks.

Omega Harris excites me from what I've seen. I sure wouldn't mind seeing him in Crimson and Cream. If OU has backed off or Harris has cooled on OU, so be it I wish him well. Still, I am guessing we aren't actually off of the Omega Harris bandwagon, but it isn't like I have any inside knowledge.

Of course the college choice is up to him. I assume you are related or close to the family. Please tell us what is what with him? List of offers? Etc.

He can flat out play. But his motor isn't always going. Ask recruitniks, that's his knock, show flashes of brilliance and then lulls of nothing.
His size hurts him for sure, at least for OU, LK has made his living off big strong long athletic guards.
