Similar journeys, opposite endings >>> Tulsa World

the ncaa doesn't like aau coaches or other "outsiders" influencing recruiting decisions and they don't know how to fix it? that's laughable. the primary reason that outsiders have so much influence is because of the ncaa's own regulations restricting direct contact between the recruits and college coaching staffs. if the ncaa doesn't like middlemen, they should stop legislating that contact has to go through one.

The next to the last paragraph states:

At the Big 12 Tournament, a college administrator made this chilling comment: "Everybody knows college basketball is broken, but I'm not sure anyone knows how to fix it."

I think they know what needs to be done, but the no one has the intestinal fortitude to do it.

A good start would be to scrap the one and done and move to something similar to what college baseball has.

Why is Anderson's leaving early for the NBA a "wonderful ending", and WW possibly doing the exact same thing viewed as OU "striking out"?
