I could have started numerous threads about the election but withheld due to the new rules on this site.

So yes, I expect those that can't restrain themselves to be punished.

Look at it this way. For 6 months, Boulder allowed all of us to voice (hence VENT) our political opinions and frustrations. As expected, the left and the right did not get along too well. All good things must come to an end, so it's time to be creative with some new "off-topic" threads which don't involve politics.
