I believe Tech will have to play UCLA tomorrow, I suppose I'll be rooting for the Bruins. Interesting note, Cassidy Pickering shared a tweet of text second baseman Mia Williams jumping up to catch a ball... Seems like she's loving on Texas Tech quite a bit lately 😞

Anyone else heard about the controversy in the handshake line after Tennessee beat Texas tech? Taylor Panell said in her presser that Karen Weekly was talking smack to her and instead of saying 'good game' she said 'you made a mistake!' and in response in her presser Weekly adamantly denied that and during today's Texas vs. Nebraska game ESPN showed the footage of them shaking hands and it was clear as they Weekly only said 'good game' to Panell, which Holly Rowe was close enough to hear and confirmed. Why does Panell gotta lie like that? Also, why is Tech fighting with every single team they play?! If something happens during their game against UCLA this evening...

I wouldn’t be surprised if another player or coach said something and she thought it was weekly

But yeah i so want tech to lose. Tired of them and their bought team
 
Man, I was so rooting for UCLA but Tech had the better pitching. Their coach was doing some funky stuff with the lineup, switching pitchers every other batter, etc. I have to say if Terry were still playing for UCLA they'd be one of the favs to win and would have won last night, probably easily. I also still feel that if Jorday Bahl Frahm were a Sooner we would have won last year and been in the mix this season. Oh well!

I don't see how either team can win both games today. I pick Tennessee vs. Bama for the WCWS finals. Suppose I'll root for the Vols to win it, reluctantly.

My daughter is working the WCWS and just so happened to be sitting next to Kendall Wells and Pickering today, for a bit. I asked if they were wearing any OU gear and she said no. Obviously means nothing, but they are hanging together at the World Series and wanting Texas to win.

I think fans forget that just because they hate a team, these players do not feel that way. Many players from different teams have played together, are friends etc. And mamy players have considered going to the school hated by fans.

Maybe they did not wear OU gear because OU was not playing.
