Sooners hosting high school guard for official visit this weekend

As mentioned in an earlier thread a couple of weeks, OU had offered Augusta, Ga. (Westside HS) 6-foot-4 shooting guard Frank Booker.

Well, per Horace Neysmith of @EHoopsShowcase, Booker will be in Norman this weekend for an official visit. Neysmith tweets Booker has an offer from Tennessee in addition to OU and Miami.

I liked what I saw of Booker on video. I think this kid could turn out to be the scoring guard we all want next year. I was particuarly impressed with what I read in the article I linked to the thread last week. Any player who is a threat to knock down shots when he crosses the mid-court line gets my vote.

Wish we had a little better crowd (numbers-wise) there to impress him, but other than that, we did what we can. Crowd was pretty loud. Team played well. Guards took plenty of shots which I think would appeal to him. Just gotta convince him Norman is the place to be.
