Woodard was absolutely heinous when it counted tonight. Holy crap.

Umm what? Woodard was one of the primary reasons we came back. 2 late steals, a slew of FT's in the last 10 minutes to keep us in it, etc.

So a guy makes a couple of mistakes, take away his starting job he's worked to get through practice and solid play through the first 3 games. Makes sense.

Who do you think help bring OU back in the game. Everyone on the team made mistakes Woodard kept his composure and kept fighting to the end. That says alot.

Woodard is going to have his ups and downs but if I am LK I am going with him no matter what. His upside is way too high and his playing time now will make all the difference during the conference season.

Guys the original post was made before Woodward made the plays to end the game. Cut him some slack. Woodward had a bad game til the end

Nah Bounce its ok, I went full retard...and you never go full retard. Just got really frustrated when he turned the ball over on the baseline down 3. Flame away, I can take it.

He's a freshman. He learned a whole lot more from playing in this game than he would learn if he watched from the bench.

Not sure who Woodward is, but Woodard actually had a nice game, with two large errors down the stretch. However, he also made plays to win it. Buddy on the other hand was brutal, but also redeemed himself with two huge ft makes.

He had a decent game before the turnovers, he helped them get within 4 after being down 11. He made a turnover and bad foul but he never gave up, so as fans we shouldn't give up on the team. You can pick a lot of people to talk about having a bad game.

You cannot cut someone some slack for making premature conclusions. Basketball is a 40 game with every player having peaks and valleys. These are the type games that will give Woodard the experience he needs to be a major team contributor come conference season.

Their stat line is comparable except Hornbeak scored 4 point Woodard 12 points. Woodward provided the momentum and the points the last 3 minutes to give us the opportunity to win the game.

I like what Woodard brings, but I think Hornbeak is pretty dang good too. I feel comfortable when he's on the floor, and I'm not saying I'm uncomfortable with Woodard.

Let's put it this way, I feel much more comfortable with either of these 2 than that transfer from New Orleans (Blair?). He was awful.

Which is why it's a good idea to wait until the game is actually over to post.

I liked his interview at the end of the game. They asked him if he had ever played in a game like that and you could just see how excited he was.

You're alright Ben. Happens to all of us
