Just some thoughts:
One of my biggest issues last night was Kruger pulling Williams. He played 4-5 min to start game and then the final few mins of the first half. Second half: Williams has a great drive/finish with a free throw. Gets pulled and doesn't come back until late in the game. He then I believe gets a rebound and gets us a layup right away. It seems like Williams has the shortest leash on the team.
Kuath and Manek just are too slow, both can block some shots, but get pushed around and can't defend the perimeter. Victor and Hill just can't score or offer anything on that end of the floor.
Harmon/Gibson/Harkless were brutal. Harmon flat out misses guys/dribbles too much.
Reaves is the only guy on the team that can break someone down and get to the basket at a decent rate. How do we get guys like Mitchell, Teague or Butler?
I still like this years team and think we can make a run at a good finish, but moving forward I think it may be ugly for a year or two. We will have 3 guards that aren't explosive athletes and all super short, Victor, Hill and Harkless that can't shoot/score. That's very concerning to me moving forward.
