Super Fan

With CBB attendance on a downward swing seemingly every where I thought it would be interesting to see what initiatives conferences have put in place in an effort to reverse the trend. Surprisingly the only developed plan I found was the Big Ten's Super Fan idea. Basically the conference spent money on marketing and advertising a Super Fan Trophy for the institution with the largest percentage increase in attendance every season. With this plan in place the conference went on to set new attendance records. Im not sure how a plan like this would work in the Big 12 but it would be nice to see the conference show some leadership in this area.
