Texas' Martez Walker suspended after assault charge

He has been charged with a Class A misdemeanor.

It was later determined the alleged victim was a UT student, according to a UT police spokeswoman. The alleged victim later told police that Martez Walker was her boyfriend.

Barnes has suspended him indefinitely. He only averaged 4.7 points but I remember that he played well in the NCAA Tournament. Looks like he scored 16 in the first round win, and 14 in their loss to Michigan.

Will be interesting to see how this is handled.
