Tennessee is taking some ridiculous shots, and they can't hit layups. They don't look like a top twenty team. Texas does. They appear to be better than they have been. They finally have someone sho can shoot. Kelsey Lang, a 6-5 sophomore, can hit the long jumper, and Tennessee is leaving her open. She's the only person in double figures.

First time seeing them and I can't say I'm looking forward to playing them.
Specially if we played the way we played the last three games.

Someone has stated on here before that Texas doesn't have a coach. I agree with you, Aston doesn't take a backseat to anyone in the Big 12 when it comes to coaching. She can darn sure recruit too.

She did really well at Duke but couldn't cut the mustard at UT. I noticed that she and Kurt Budke are being added to the College Hall of Fame.

Gail didn't realize that Duke the institution was doing her recruiting.

Add to that she whipped out the Texas staff and it made a bunch of bad relationships with the AAU teams and coaches in the state..

That created the perfect situation for Aston. Texas is a good school, good basketball history, and that gave Aston the opportunity to reconnect with AAU and high school coaches and rebuild those relationships. It would be great if we had a better connection to the Texas high school coaches.

When do we look forward to Baylor? They, like A$M, always seemed to have athletes all over the floor. I'm so glad we don't have to worry about the Aggies anymore. Tough competition but always so tough to beat.

Does it make me a bad Sooner to hope that anyone, Texas included, beats Baylor so their stranglehold on the Big 12 ends?
I'd rather it be us of course but after the Virgin Islands double loss I have muted expectations this season
