Watching those games against Memphis was PAINFUL.

The whole series was a grand testament to how important RW is to this group in about 100 different ways. KG tried but he was beaten up on and exhausted. I think Reggie learned a lot and we learned more about what we need.

OKC MVP for the playoffs this season? Derrick Fisher.

As a Mavs homer, I'll admit that I do enjoy seeing OKC mired in a little bit of playoff turmoil, as it took the Mavs so long to climb that hill. So, naturally I feel like every team that ends up winning a championship should experience similar frustrations and heartbreak first before winning the title.

Not having Westbrook certainly hampered their chances of advancing in the playoffs. He is just simply too important of a piece to not have, no matter how deep your roster is. There is no replacing a guy like that over the course of an entire playoff series. Westbrook provides a nice change of pace and explosiveness at the offensive end for the Thunder.

I still feel like even with a healthy RW, they may not have had enough to make a return trip to the finals this year, but even if they did, I still don't think anyone can match the Heat in a 7 game series.

Will be interesting to see if KD tries to bulk up a bit this off-season. I know he's a lot stronger physically now than when he first got in the league, but I'm still not sure it's enough.

If you take the second best player off most any team, they will struggle.

I don't think that is necessarily a testament to how good Westy is. I'm certainly not saying he isn't a good player, I just don't think he is a good fit playing next to KD. If it were my team, I'd be looking to reconfigure the starting lineup a bit.
