The events of the last few weeks...is this what Sittler was referring to?

When he mentioned that Joe wasn't happy at the Big 12 tournament. That Joe wasn't talking to anybody and didn't seem to be very happy.

Do you think Joe knew some things then that were troubling? Obviously, he didn't know about the Gallon situation as that didn't come out for another week, but what about the rest?

good God not this again.

It seems prophetic to me that Sittler wrote the article and less than a month later the entire program has imploded. You have to wonder if as a journalist he didn't have some inside info that couldn't be reported yet because he wasn't sure if it was valid.

I don't think this particular situation is what Sitler was referring to; his article was speculation based on the look on Joe C's face. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Joe C wasn't happy with the way things were going on and off the court. I look at Sitler's article more as the first chapter in a story that has gotten progressively worse as the off season has gone on. If Sitler was referring to the present situation, then he is even more of a moron than the story made him seem. What kind of journalist would let a story this juicy go?

If you give a monkey a typewriter, eventually he'll make a word.

If you constantly say everything is horrible, eventually you will be right.

To call either of those things prophetic is akin to believing in astrology.
