Is that we get to lace 'em up and play at least two times a year.

You know honestly, I could give a care which roster is stronger. Because I seem to remember a very good OSU team (elite 8 appearance that year I believe) coming into Norman for Bedlam in 2005 and getting ran out of the gym with a game starting 19-2 run by the Sooners.

Anything can happen. That's why they play the game.

I seem to remember being like 30 something games better H-T-H "all-time" too. We had a crap couple of years, doesn't erase the last 50.

The great thing is each person thinks they are going to convince the other.

That was actually coming off the final four year. It was the loudest I've heard the LNC.

I don't remember how OU ended that season. OSU ended in the Sweet 16. Then the dark times began...

Just like this year, OU fans build thier season around beating OSU. It's your "Bowl Game" so to speak.

Negative sweaty palms. But obviously something to look forward too. You sure hold your team in high regards, for nothing.

the problem with sweaty palms post is he assumes osu is OU's biggest rival. Not true. OU might be osu's biggest rival, but our biggest rival is texas

Did you read the title of this thread?

For reference purposes, right now on the front page of this board is a seven page thread with two teams with LOSING conference records arguing over who had the better season. That thread has many oSu posters, including yourself, that want to argue about who had the "better" team.

If there were ten posters from Tech claiming how superior they are to OU, I'd expect that an OU fan would remind them we split with them. If there were a bunch of ISU fans doing the same thing, I'd expect that OU fans would remind them that we beat them HTH. Would that mean that Tech or ISU are the OU "Bowl Game"? I'd venture to say no.

Both teams were picked to be awful this year and both teams lived up to that billing. Both teams will look way different than last year...

Are you guys honestly taking a guy named Byron Houston's sweaty palms seriously?

The OSU basketball games are definitely not my basketball "bowl games". They're the games where I either see OU kick the **** out of a gross orange looking team at home or scoff at the ridiculous "Historic Gallagher Iba" sign at one of the most overrated programs in all of sports history.

Oh, and hear boos after every foul.

Ben, with the THREE!!!

If you have to name something "Historic" that says everything you need to know.

Bingo.

Also, that much-ballyhooed loyal fanbase the aggies have long touted here has proven to be just so much smoke and mirrors, considering all the empty seats we've seen at HGIA the past few seasons. Funny how no local sports columnist has called them on the carpet for that, as they've done to OU more than once. Just one more example of the coddling.

I guess many of those folks that filled the seats back in the day were Eddie Sutton fans, not oswho faithful.
