Thursday NCAA Games

I just googled the NBA draft and he is projected to go in the top 20. Apparently, we aren't the only ones who think he is pretty good. I just haven't watched much of LSU until late in the season.....and he was a beast in the SEC tournament.

One of my best friends was born and raised in NOLA and his son went to LSU (after graduating from PC North H.S. in OKC). Over the years, I have been to quite a few LSU sporting events, such as their football game at Lambeau Field vs. Wisconsin a few years ago. I even went to Austin a few weeks ago to watch the LSU @ Texas baseball series.

One of my best memories was the time Buddy, Isaiah and Ryan Minor beat 'dem Tigers in Baton Rouge in 2016. The Pete Maravich Center was sold out that day. It was fun.

Anyway, I tend to keep an eye on the LSU athletic teams.

Vermont is leading FSU still fairly early though.

Leonard's team is a bit offensively retarded but he has a gazillion long, fast athletes.

They could make a run at a FF, or lose today. Hate teams like that come March.

yeah I agree. I keep seeing Leonard down there and I remember him up here in stillwater and I wasn't that impressed. But then he gets a lot of really good players and makes some noise every once in awhile. That's good enough for FSU I guess. It is very annoying for the lack of consistency.

It's tough. There are a few teams I know nearly always underachieve come March, but I am always left wondering if this will be the year they actually play well. FSU is one of them. Several others. I always get to those teams on my bracket and just scratch my head.

I hate Bruce Pearl

Something about that first name (Weber)

NMSU chokes at the FT line with 1.7 second left

Awful

Awful

There was a lot of choking. The NMSU guard should have just shot the layup. The Auburn guy NEVER should have fouled. And yeah, oh boy should have made at least two of the three FT's. And then, NMSU gets a fairly wide open look at the end of the game. Crazy.

NMSU was down 7 with less than a minute to play, missed 4 free throws, and still had a shot at the buzzer to win. Terrible play by Auburn but just good enough.

something about 5 vs 12 games. not sure what it means statistically ... but it must have some significance.

I watched Bradley play last week against UNI and they werent nearly as good as they're playing now against Mich State. funny how that happens.

I feel completely cheated in my picks of NMSU and Belmont

Better team lost

I wanted to pick against KU so badly, but Northeastern is terrible.

Florida defeats Nevada. I didn't care who won this game but it certainly seemed like different sets of officials were calling the game when Florida was on defense vs when Nevada was on defense.

fletcher magee is an amazing shooter.

his 3's go thru the basket in that nba-shooter way where the net doesnt move. wofford plays to his strengths too.
