TMG turning Pro blog from Yahoo

If this kid does in fact "turn pro", he's got a lot of hard lessons ahead of him. If he wants to make any money he's going to have to go play in Europe for most if not all of his remaining basketball career.

why was he practicing with the team this weekend then?

i just had no idea this kid was of this nature. that bloggers and tweeters call out, question and make light of his character...and the fact that he is straight-up leaving OU. still just weird to me and thought that he was relatively "good" in HS amidst the WW's and Tiny's of the reputation world.

the lawton-ft. sill cavalry will have themselves a hell of a point guard.

I think we were all fooled if this does indeed happen. Hopefully his parents or members of his family can knock some freaking sense into this young man.

If, I say "IF" true, then dont let the door..........

marcus dupree.

sadly though - marcus dupree was actually talented enough to make it but for some injuries and lack of personal discipline.

most talented back ever

If BG had done what TMG is doing you could say Dupree. Since he's not, no.

well, talent-wise Blake would be a better comparison...but Blake was much more ready to be a pro after 1 year than TMG and Blake wasn't ready.

This kid is nowhere NEAR Dupree's level. Marcus may have been the most gifted back to ever play for the crimson and cream.

This.

One of ESPN's 30 for 30 documents is on Dupree and his talents in HS. He really transcended recruiting coverage as we know it today.
