Tony Crocker

Quite a start for our senior leader tonight. He's not just doing it on offense either

I can't think of his name, but the Spurs used to have a defensive specialist who could spot-shoot a three as well as anyone. Does anyone remember his name? Crocker could make the NBA being a player like that.

Are you talking about Sean Elliott?

BTW Crocker with 27 at the 3 min time out...Unbelievable...Gotta believe he'll get 40 tonight

Talking about Bruce Bowen?

Not only are Crocker's shots falling, he's looking a lot more aggressive in his general offensive game.

You're probably thinking of Sean Elliott. Bruce Bowen is a good spot up 3 point shooter, but only from the baseline. Anywhere else and it's brick city.

I am so happy for Tony. Amazing performance!:clap

He only needs 32 in the second half to tie Tisdale's all-time single-game scoring record. :)

Couple of questions: (1) what is the difference with Tony this year? He seems to play harder and smarter (2) Are you guys getting bad weather in Oklahoma? Not much of a crowd

I think this team is starting to play together, still have some learning to do and so far so good. This game and the AZ game they seem to be playing harder, faster and smarter. :clap

i like Tony a lot but Sean Elliot was an elite college player.

However, tonight Tony thinks we're playing Syracuse. :crocker:woot

just dribbling the ball up the court, tony looks like an entirely different person this year

better ball control, more confidence, in better shape, better looking 3 point shot:chestram2:

If bad weather is sub 20 degrees, then yes...it's bad

I was thinking of Bowen. Good D with length to guard nearly every position on the floor, solid rebounding and good 3 pt shooting.

No, he only lost to OU twice. Regardless, I'm excited about the second half just to see what Tony ends up with.

Your right, Arizona won in Tucson. He was 1-2 against OU. Pretty good given the fact that was a really good time in Arizona basketball.

I am very happy for Tony. I ventured that he might come into his senior season with a different energy, a new agression. After a few games of 7 or 8 points, people were already writing him off like they had for four years. SO SO SO happy that a light has come on, and now Tony is a serious difference maker every night.

He played like a mad man in that first half. It really was an awesome performance on both ends! :crocker

I just wish he would have been able to convert on that big slam attempt in the second half. It would have been a fitting way for him to go out.
