TU might have secured an at-large bid for themselves providing they keep winning and don't tack on any bad losses from here on out. They now have wins 1. vs Wichita State 2. vs UCONN 3. vs. Houston 4. vs Ohio 5. @ SMU
At the very least they are probably a high seeded NIT team now. Really good win AT SMU last night. Frank Haith's lackluster coaching is offset by a trio of really good guards. All three of their starting guards are lefties, how often do you see that ? TU is the only team to win AT SMU this year.

I'm not a Heath fan but he's done a good job at TU. Someone will give him another power 5 job.

I totally disagree. Have you seen some of the teams he's lost to. Losing to Oregon State and Oral Roberts are bad losses when you have that many guys returning and that many seniors. He's a terrible coach and every team he takes over gets worse and worse every year he's there. Tulsa is going to fall to the bottom of that conference with him as the coach.

I'm very skeptical that that league gets more than one bid.

I'm sure he will get an offer from someone, but he's bringing a NCAA trail with him

Totally disagree. He's working with 9 or 10 upper classmen and has had some mind-boggling losses this year. If he stays next year, Tulsa will crater.

And of course, the stench of NCAA recruiting violations will always follow him around.

I understand he's had some bad losses. So does lots of teams.

He's won 39 games over he let 2 years. I said I'm not a huge fan of haith! I'm not saying he's COY

lol...not for awhile I hope. The dude put Miami and now Missouri on self imposed sanctions before the ncaa did. Guy is a train wreck.

Haith will almost assuredly be show-caused for a LONG time. His NCAA head coaching career is over.

The other item of note from that game is that Tulsa shot over 58% from the field and 82% from the FT line. They haven't been all that good of a shooting team this year as well. Not sure coaching had much to do with that....but regardless, it was a high quality win for them.
