Unfortunately, this seems to block Isaiah's path on the depth chart - with Darren Collison facing the domestic charges, he had an outside chance to start. He'll also have to work around another head case in the locker room. It's sort of a double bind: if Lawson puts his personal issues behind him, his play will improve and probably wind Isaiah up in the D-League... If it doesn't, that's a huge burden on the players in Sacto who want to, you know, focus on professional basketball.

The article also mentioned the Pellies talking to Lawson's agent. At least Buddy dodges a bullet here.

Isaiah just needs to make the roster, he really doesn't need to start this year. As for the Kings problems, they will always be there as long as the owner & Boogie are there.

I don't think Lawson going to NO would've effected Buddy much at all.
