If Thompson and Hardrick stay, we are at our scholarship limit. If either or both leave, we still have 1-2 scholarships left to fill. Grandy Glaze (F FR) could fill one of those scholarships if he chooses to follow Kruger to OU.

I dont see any way Thompson and Hardrick are back.

Me neither, but I didn't think it was "official" that they were gone yet.

I don't think we need another big man, we need a perimeter player.

Yes, because he is a power forward and Arent is a center. We need some freshmen on the roster (we will have none heading into next season as of now) and Kruger had recruited Glaze to UNLV.

Why? Like to hear your input.

I've heard from two different sources on Thompson transferring this week and I trust both sources, so I believe it will be announced next week.

Then all I've heard on Hardrick's grades it will be tough for him to get eligible this semester and with the coaching change I just don't see it.

Just for the sake of clarity, I would place M'baye with the sophs, even though he's a junior since he is redshirting.

FWIW, Hale reported both Hardrick and Thompson are transferring.

Thanks. Appreciate the info.

If both Thompson and Hardrick leave we might want to hold onto one of those ships so we can give out more than one next year. Coach might have recruited Glaze to UNLV but he might not fit into (or want to come to) Oklahoma.

We don't need to hold on to one to have more than one scholly for next year. We will have Tyler Neal's open, as he will leave for the draft after next season.:neal

If we are going to leave one open anyways, I would like for Puma or TJ to get it. They will both be Sr Walk-ons, if one is available I see no harm in that

I would prefer to keep it open in the event we have an option at a mid-year transfer.

If Lon chooses to assign it to a walk-on, I would prefer to see TJ get it. He's kept his nose clean and from what I understand his classwork is pretty good. Kids like this should be rewarded.

Not a bad idea, had not really considered that. If we don't find anyone we want it would be a really nice thing to do.

This is who we KNOW is on scholly next year:

PG: Blair and Grooms
SG: Pledger and Newell
SF: Cam and Neal
PF: Osby, Fitz, Washington, M'Baye
C: Arent

That leaves two 'ships open, and we don't know for sure what is happening with Thompson and Hardrick.

P.S. - Don't argue with me over my classification of Osby as a PF. I don't see him playing on the wing, so I'll group him as I see fit. Thank you. :)
