All kidding aside, it must be kind of scary to be the first of your family to go to college.

It's great to have her in Norman. The OU doctors and trainers can oversee her rehab on the knee. They have plenty of experience with ACL injuries.

I think it is great that kids come in early, take some summer classes, workout and practice, and adjust to college life at a slower pace than if they just showed up in the fall.

Particularly for "first in family." There is no telling how valuable the experience will be for her and for her future family as she bootstraps herself. Here is hoping she has a full and rewarding career at OU.
