The Texas roster for the faith 7 has been released and T.J. Taylor will be playing in the game.

Tyler Neal will be on the Oklahoma squad.

The game is June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee.

Should be a dunk and 3 point contest as well.

Some other names of note.

Oklahoma Roster
Armic Fields, Neals teammate and going to TCU
Cameron Downing, from Tulsa Memorial and a 6'8 post going to Buffalo

Texas Roster
Rickey Scott - Irving-Mac, 6'3 combo guard, going to Arkansas. Former OU recruit
K.C. Ross Miller - 5'10 little point going to LSU (former Kentucky commit). Another former OU recruit

Bump, going to be a fun game. TJ Taylor is always fun to watch in person and Tyler Neal is an interesting aspect as well.

Several of the Capelables will be attending the game, should be a fun time. Come on out if you want to see two of our future guys and one of our future rivals in Michael Cobbins.

Wish I could join you guys....but board exam study will still be calling my name at that time. Do me a favor and give us a report on how the guys look.

I plan on going, does anyone know which gym the game is going to be at? Im guessing OBU's. I really wish Cam was playing in this game too, I know he would own the dunk contest if there is one.

Going to guess it is going to be at the Noble complex on OBU's campus.

I'll be there. Do you all want to meet at Rob's Smokehouse before the game?

I've been to four Faith 7 games there (but none since Ryan Minor played in it). So I assume it hasn't been moved again. It used to be at a junior high gym near downtown Shawnee in the 70's.

Bump and dunk contest starts at 7:00 PM

quick hits from the game. Tyler neal looked better with 13 points and a good number of rebounds total. Tj only had 4 points, had a handful assists as well. Fun game, lots of points, lots of highlights, more to come later

Final was 130-88 for Texas with Tyler Neal recording a double double.

After the game GParker was able to speak with Taylor and Neal for a couple brief interviews so expect a write up from him about the game coming up over the next couple days.

Sam so what was the story on TJ Taylor only getting 4 points? Was he off, not shoot that much, how did he look? Thanks

Since I was working the video camera the whole time I may not be the best judge of it but he appeared to not be looking for his own shot much. I'll let Greg do the bulk of the scouting work since I think he got a better chance to observe TJ since he wasn't watching the game through the little 2 inch screen on the camera.
