"You can never give up because quitting is not an option. No matter how dark it is or how weak you get, until you take that last breath, YOU MUST FIGHT" Wayman Tisdale

I love this quote, but I also think it should apply to the fans. Yes it was a big loss and hard to watch. It happened, its done, its over with. The whole day I have read post after post about some of the stupidest stuff. Come on now we are 6 games into the season. Everyone knew it was going to be a tough season. We will see some lows, see some highs and it wont always be pretty. So what is with everyone jumping ship now. This is a young team, yeah some players aren't living up to expectations, but maybe you set them too high.
I am saying if you call yourself a true Sooner, a true OU fan then support this team even when they are down. Also who are we as fans to put these guys down. None of us on here have ever coached d-1 basketball and more then likely none of us have started d-1 basketball. Heck some haven't played basketball since grade school.
Yes I am not happy with the play of basketball this week, but I understand what being a fan is, also there is like 28 games left. If you can't stay on the ship when you think it is sinking jump off and lets start to see who are the real fans of OKLAHOMA BASKETBALL are.
Also in 1980 a bunch of scrub hockey players did something the world said they couldn't and I am sorry, but I believe in anything.

I understand what you're saying, and all power to you if you can still stay positive after this, but I just can't. Yes, I'll still go to all of the home games I can, watch all of the road games I can, and cheer my heart out for the team...but it's tough not to be mad at the team after games like today. I can deal with losses like the Kentucky loss, because we still showed some fight in that game. But, IMO, we did not show much fight the last two days, and I'm disappointed about that. I may have posted some stuff today that I'll regret in the future, but as of right now I don't really regret anything I've said.

This is why you are a good man and a good Sooner, 40 Cal. I'll be there with ya the rest of the season and i have a feeling we'll have some more good Sooners with us as well.

You know all our greatest success came during the life time of Wayman Tisdale (1964-through May of 2009), ever since his untimely and horrible passing Sooner basketball has been on a steady decline. The biggest high point during this recent time was on Wayman Tisdale day......
