The Westmoore girls returned to dominant form, riding a 26-point performance by Jessi Murcer to an 85-47 win over Piedmont Thursday in the Newcastle tournament.
Murcer wasn’t the only Jaguar to get into an offensive rhythm. Ashley Gomez, Sydney Chastain and Kaci Richardson also scored in double figures with 14, 13 and 12. Chastain led the team with eight assists and Richardson collected a team-high eight rebounds. Murcer also contributed five assists, five steals and four rebounds.
