Ashley Gomez is a guard at Westmoore. In today's paper they discussed her skill at the 3 point shot. She also has offers from Portland, Southern Utah, and Southwestern Oklahoma State.

I haven't seen her play but, as a reminder, she plays in the same team as Jessi Murcer.

The pair tore up Edmond Memorial Murcer 30, Gomez 29. Gomez is a Senior and for the past 3 years was the Go To player for Westmoore. Now with Murcer coming on I think they should have a good year. Maxpreps has Gomez with just a little higher 3PT % with fewer turnovers. Need to get down and watch this duo.

Solid guard, about 5'9. Can do a little bit of everything but not spectacular at anything. Shooting is probably her biggest strength on most nights. Congratulations to her on the Xavier offer! In my mind, I have always thought she is a quality small D1 guard.

On the other hand when I see highlights of Murcer I say she is a must sign. Felt like that on Stevie Clark the first few times I saw him as well. How did that work out?

Seriously, Murry has all the shots, behind the arc, mid range jumper, floater, and a great change of pace on drives to the hoop. Super quick and appears to be a good ball handler. Rep is that she is also a very hard worker a la Buddy and Isaih.
