WNBA 2026

Watched Beers play against New York. She showed good IQ and was playing under control. Her biggest problem will be defense. She doesn't defend well aginst good inside players and when she has to switch and cover a guard or wing she is in trouble. Don't know the roster wellenough to have an opinion if whe will make the final roster. If she gets cut I could see her being picked up by someone else.
I will gladly eat my crow right now because I thought her athletic limitations would hurt her chances to make the roster. I'm very happy I was wrong and can understand why they don't pay me to evaluate professional-level talent. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I haven't been able to watch any WNBA games yet, but I do see headlines on WNBA articles on Yahoo.com. Based on headlines alone, it seems that someone (WNBA or headline writers?) is hyping drama over basketball. Am I the only one who has noticed that?

They definitely do. They think that’s what is entertaining.

The game itself is pretty boring and is usually bad basketball.
So they have to try something to prop it up
I went to a few Shock games when they were in Tulsa. It wasn't bad basketball. It was better than I expected. I guess I can see how the social media generations might be attracted by the 'drama'. My definition of the NBA is great players playing bad basketball because the officials refuse to do their job.
