But we know better. Most of the team just looked like they didn't really care.
I think it was still a hangover from the Iowa St. game. There was one less day to rest since it was a Thursday game.
Couldn't see the game of course. Stat sheet seemed to be balanced offensively....
The final stat sheet doesn't show how bad we looked offensively in the first half. At one point McFarland was 2-12 and Vegas 2-14. They both had several 3 pointers go halfway down and come back out. Morgan had about 5 layups roll around the rim and off. The first 10 minutes of the second half looked about the same. By the time we woke up, it was too little too late, and then we couldn't get stops. In all fairness, KU played pretty inspired.
I know this is making excuses and crying over spilt milk, but if we had EITHER Hand or Manning, we win this game easily, and probably win the last one also.

Vegas and Morgan may be going through mini-slumps. Both played with a noticeable lack of focus. About %50 of the time Nicole doesnt have a very good idea of what is going on around her. Her court awareness is limited.
I expect all but Nicole will regain form very quickly. Nicole's problem is just the way it is. She works hard and improves but still doesnt know what's happening around her much of the time.
If we keep this sh!t up I may be the final womens basketball fan left on SF.com... I may have to resort to posting endless photos of our team (and especially Sherri) to get anyone else interested... hell, that's how I got them all interested in the first place.
Seriously, I NEVER, EVER, NEVER NEVER NEVER want to be forced to turn to bowling on ESPN again due to an atrocious Sherri Sooners Sunday showing. If you point out that's an alliteration, I will screeeeeeeam
