A while back there was a thread where several of us predicted the # of conference wins for each Big-12 team. We all picked Kansas to finish last, but even Syb with a prediction of exactly 1 win (1 - 17 conference record) may have been dramatically optimistic.

Tuesday, Kansas played Oral Roberts (in Lawrence) and got beat. Honestly. When I watched ORU at Baylor they looked like the worst team in the history of women's basketball. Couldn't hit anything. But against Kansas they shot 45% from the field, 39% on 3's, and (more in line with their skill set) only 36% on free throws (8 of 22). By the way, they still scored more from the line than Kansas who was 6 of 9.

I am a bit stunned about that. Is it possible Kansas could go winless in the Big-12 this year? Someone needs to look it up and see if that has ever happened.

All that said I expect KU wins at least one somewhere along the line.

Three teams have gone winless in the Big 12.

Texas Tech, a once national power that won the 1993 national championship, has lost a program-worst 19 games in a row en route to a 6-23, 0-18 mark.
The Lady Raiders became the third women's team to finish Big 12 regular-season play winless, joining Kansas (2001-02 season) and Oklahoma State (2005-06 season).
