I also disagree with the sentiment that he can’t play the 3. He did at Alabama this year plenty and we’ve already got shot creation & scoring on the court. His biggest impact *should* be made on the defensive end of the floor.
To me there are some striking similarities to the San Diego St version of Kawhi Leonard. Not great shooters, but a similar powerful way of getting the ball to the rack. 3/4 hybrid with defensive versatility and potential through the roof with similar build and some very similar movement styles...
NET is a sorting tool used to determine an opponent’s strength (quads). It isn’t used by the committee to power rank teams. OU being 10 spots higher in NET does very little for OU. It’s good for teams that played OU.
