yeah he's in the trevor knight/jackson arnold class of qb's. all we needed this season was a good not great qb.....and we ended up with another bust. he needs to move on next season or take a massive pay cut. i'd prefer he move on. give next year's defense a qb to be proud of.

so in mateer's last start ....his qbr was 67.6 and his passer rating was 117.1 in hawk's last start...his qbr was 69.7 and his rating was 156.3 so the stats point to hawk being the better player and there's no way to disprove this assertion because it is based on facts

we don't need tua. but mateer has regressed...his completion % against mizzou was 46% and according to gabe...he's making the wrong read/decision the majority of the time. so it wouldn't take much to be an upgrade. idk if hawk would be better but hopefully he's gotten better in practice and if...

you and coach have the same issues... saban replaced a starting qb that wasn't getting it done....and it resulted in a national championship. coaches and players face tough decisions.....

sure....when performance is so horrid....the decision is clear. it's those gray areas that are difficult. mateer isn't hurting the team with turnovers...he's not helping the team ....so we'll ride with him. and for now..there really is no other option. if we make the playoffs.....hawk gives them...
