not a "recipe for disaster".....if mateer can put up 300yds passing and 100 yds rushing... just have to be able to run the ball when we need to.

our entire offense will have to play a lot better to beat teams like ole miss/tenn/bama

i don't know if his throwing motion can be changed/fixed....but his low release costs him a couple completions per game when they're batted down by linemen.

mateer has been very effective with both his arm and his legs. again....fix 2-4 bad passes per game....and he's definitely one of the top qb's in the country based on his total offensive impact.

67% completion percentage and 300yds/gm isn't abysmal. he does need to clean up 2-3 passes per game to up his game to elite status. gotta hit that pass to barnes that went high....would have been a td.

don't want to see them run every play. but i would like to see arbuckle lean on the run game when it matters. first down....and second/third and short.

disagree. gameplan as usual. mateer needs work just like the o-line needs work on run blocking schemes. if mateer can clean up 4-5 passes each game....the offense looks so much better.

but wichita is happy that we spent time and money on him
