I still believe in BB. He’s been so good for so long but the last few years haven’t been good. Not all of that is his fault either. I think some limitations on recruiting have hurt him and his group and those issues appear to have been resolved. Also, the Cayden green fiasco hurt the OL as well...
I absolutely don’t want Lebby’s offense ever again. It was a lot of stats against weaker teams and failed against good teams. Plus he was a bipolar playcaller. I would rather have Riley’s 2017 offense, not Riley’s Caleb offense. I have heard good things about this new guy. Hopefully, he’s the...
There’s a lot of talk about blaylock. He might be elite. I’d be ok with giving the most carries to Ott and Robinson. Although I’d like to see more carries going to Barnes and Tatum when we play temple, Illinois at, and Kent st to keep the real starters rested and free of injury.
All fair points. If BV can’t learn and grow past those mistakes, he will not be the head coach much longer. I believe he can. Game management has been an issue but he’s shown himself to be very amendable to change and fix problems on the staff and on the team. I think the roster is much better...
I think we’re gonna be a lot better this year. Offense will be good and defense is gonna be really good. They’ve changed the approach to fall camp this year, being a lot more careful not to overwork guys and being careful with injuries. A lot of guys are being held back for precaution to make...
I don’t want any expansion. I prefer 64 teams. Unfortunately, it’s inevitable because it’s all about the money. The first couple years of the expanded play-in games, I watched. I haven’t watched since then because the games have zero interest. They have tried to move some bigger names into those...
With the way this is going, Nagy will run the football program and the new AD will worry about everything else. FB will be an almost separate entity with the GM running things while the AD is there to assist when needed. Maybe that’s a good thing for the bball program if we can just find the...
Yeah, winning a watered down league tourney that any of the top 8-10 SEC teams could win every year. It’s also the only time they’ve ever been in the tourney. Quite a zinger.
Even Mosers OU teams could do that if they had the same schedule and played in the WAC.
I believe the proposal says 8,000 with the ability to scale up. I don’t know what or how they do that but maybe for “bigger” games they can add a few thousand fans.
I wish we could play 1-2 marquee noncon games in late January or February, instead of playing them all in Nov/dec or Jan before students get back to campus.
