I live out of state but I went to the OU-UT game with my late father in December or January Moser Year 2. Admittedly, his/our worst talent team. the crowd wasn't full house but *into* it as Sooners took a top 5 Horn team to OT. Based on what I've seen, that's about the only time we've "rose...
agree on both counts. working backwards, as is it's kinda like a mid-late period All College, except in Phoenix. stand alone, bit a head of a head scratcher.
The WAC is not much top to bottom but I lived in southern New Mexico a couple years in the late 20-teens....and NMSU was winning 25+...
I remember the name Don Gandy but not much else.
he's on the 83, 84 rosters.

P.S. any of you who don't know about Sooner stats.com.....learn up. Such a great resource Sooner fans are lucky to have.
I remember EE committed and then went JUCO but came back to OU. a lot to like about that.
that 02 team could beat you in a lot of ways. one of my cherished memories of my late father (who had tix in LE4 since maybe 1979?)......was he and I went to the OU beat down of eventual champion...
i remember Selvy was pretty active on the baseline. he misses a front end one-one against Indiana in Final Four....that was rough.
Selvy used to take an occasional 3 that drove Kelvin crazy. KS would always bring it up in radio post-game.
Choo.
True enough, but most of my life Kansas always some goliaths who got about 7 fouls a game....maybe 8 at AFH.
and no question we have to bigger, longer, more athletic in this SEC. I remember watching highlights against Miss St and even though we won......they looked like they should have.
Agree on the UNC token legacy hire, at least Bill Guthridge made the Final Four. Though the Matt Dougherty hire was pretty bad. There is a part of me that doesn't get Wade to NC State. My sister lives in Durham and works at UNC and NC State and Raleigh are seen as big steps down from...
the ACC balance of power is interesting. Duke is still good but UNC is dropping. and NC State making a move with Wade. I have surprised the ACC has been able to keep it together as a hoops league first for so long in a football driven conference alignment world. Clemson football helped, but...
that IS weird. internet says he had about 400 total yards in 3 seasons at Syracuse. and his last season was 2021. His statline and ypc were better at OU, really. I remember he didn't really do much at Cuse, and I followed his box score since I was interested.
more hard hitting journalism...
I don't have an opinion about NIL (basically I do think the players deserve compensation but they should also go to school to better themselves and the rest of the world). Bling is one thing, really living your life is another. I am among the people whose passion for college sports is waning...
