Thanks for messaging me back. My wife, daughter and I watched the game at an upstairs Sushi bar on 3rd Avenue near 28th. Everyone there were pulling for the Thunder. The place was walking distance from our Affinia Dumont hotel but what a lousy night to be walking. By the way, in my walks around lower Manhattan I discover a Stillwater Bar & Grill on 4th Street with a Cowboy banner hanging out front. WTF? There should be a Norman Bar or an O'Connell's to compete.

Heya! I'm so sorry to have missed your note till now. The OU Club gathers at a bar called Snap, on the south side of 14th street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues (closer to Eighth). Don't know if it's a Thunder bar, too, but it's a decent spot on its own terms.

I'm sorry to have missed your show. I know the Metropolitan Room well; I've been to a number of shows there. I trust you had them rolling in the aisles.
