Gauchino from Ole Miss it is. Now we have an absolutely loaded pitching staff of eight arms! I could see us very well having four out of those eight being every day starters, splitting equal innings. At least I hope so. It'll be interesting to see what Rocha can do with the new addition as well...

sounds like we picked up a new pitcher out of the portal. Gasso tweeted 'Go Boomer' about 1.5 hours ago and everyone i've spoken to says it's the Ole Miss pitcher. She was alright...2nd team all-american as a freshman so has potential and 3 more years left.

Do we have any commits yet for this class? I don't believe so, but i know we have a '27 commit already, which is weird to me. When is the early signing period for this class? This fall? Hope we hear something before then...

i saw her several times towards the end of the season. Honestly, I don't believe she's any better than our returning pitchers, however the stats may prove differently (3.43 ERA last I checked). I do know she led their team in strikeouts and pitched many innings. I def wouldn't say she's better...

I agree it's crazy this guy didn't get a life sentence, WITHOUT parole. In Europe this is common and a small percentage of murderers actually get life w/o Parole, as they focus on the 'rehabilitation' aspect of sentences and returning them back into society, which seems crazy to me!

If out of Deal, Monticelli, Lowry and THREE freshmen we can't come up with at least one good backup arm then it might just be the pitching coach, IMO. Hoping Lowry or one of the freshmen emerges .

I also don't have much expectation of her being impactful, but I hope she surprises us and can contribute, rather than just being another body. she's a 5'11 forward, so she's undersized. We need quality over quantity, so perhaps JB sees her actually contributing.

well we were about 10 players deep there towards the end of the season, so if all of the players on our current roster are actually all capable of contributing and producing immediately then 10 should be enough. I just sincerely hope we don't have any injuries, illnesses, foul trouble, etc.

i bet so too. I like Coor and felt she was by far our best fielder out there. Her bat is what held her back, but it wasn't entirely bad either. She will be a star on another team, guaranteed. Here's a link to the current transfer portal tracker, so GOOD players in it currently...

that may be true, but still only 9 is so freakin' risky. If even one player has a health issue, we are incredibly limited. I just can't believe that JB and staff are foolish enough to put what could be one of the best upcoming seasons on that line in this way, so I'm still hoping for some news.
