It’s funny that you can only point to one thing and keep going back to it. How’s your track record? Don’t see you sticking your neck out very often. But if you or Coach (AKA Moser fan boy) want to pull up some data on Moser’s noncon SOS numbers, feel free. Speaking of which, as happy I am that...
I know the baseball draft rules but it would be insane for a kid who clearly has a brighter future in baseball to put that sport on the back burner any more than he already has. Baseball, more than any other sport, is one where reps matter. You need thousands of at bats in games, plus plenty of...
It would be insane of him not to play baseball. It’s pretty clearly his best sport, as he was seen as one of the top 50 or so players in the country. Redshirting would set his development back a ton.
Do we know with certainty what kind of agreement Skip and Moser have? In other words, if he...
Do you have any data to back that up? And even if it’s true, we obviously managed to pay what it took to put together a reasonable home schedule under Lon
Wrong again. Wins against 300 teams have zero value. We made the tournament because of the wins against teams like Michigan and Arizona and Louisville. The rest of the noncon schedule has no value whatsoever as far as making the field. The only thing it did was shrink our margin of error because...
The latter sentence is exactly why it shouldn’t be expanded. It is a tournament to crown a champion. We shouldn’t put teams in just so players get to feel good about themselves.
It’s a good thing you aren’t a college coach if you actually think this. Also, is there a single thing you would actually criticize Moser for? It’s ok to think critically and objectively every now and then.
I could not care less about any individual player. Just think it’s an idiotic philosophy to limit yourself to one player at a particular position, when that kid may or may not choose OU.
Who cares if they are brining in another player? Is there a guarantee said player will sign with OU? And as far as him being better, that’s an option from a high school guy covering OU. The national rankings say otherwise.
