12-7 (3-4)

LOL at OSU being a "garbage" team.

You know that your "garbage" team is currently ranked ahead of OU by your precious RPI rankings, 30 vs. 31. So why don't you go ahead and make your argument right now about how the RPI is the best system to measure teams, etc.

That issue aside, the "garbage" team isn't far behind OU in the real power rankings, Sagarin and KenPom.

OU is 17th in Sagarin, OSU is 26th

OU is 14th in KenPom, OSU is 24th

Seriously dude... your blinding hatred of OSU has clearly made you go retarded when you make any attempt whatsoever to evaluate them.

Because while OSU isn't going to win the conference, they are nowhere near approaching "garbage."

He still thinks the previous coach was the best coach at OU in the last 30 years. So, I would take anything that clown says with a grain of salt.

I'm thinking a 10-8 conference finish could be enough to get in the NCAA tourney but it would probably mean we have to win the first game of the Big 12 tourney, too, to get to 20 wins. That would translate to 20-12 overall. 19-12 might not be enough.

I think 20 wins overall and better than .500 against Big 12 teams is the ticket. It will be touch and go.

Fellas.

The only way we're sweating a bid is if we go 8-10 in the regular season with a first-round loss in KC.

8-10 and win a game in KC, we're in.
9-9, we're in.
10-8, see you at Winstead's.
11-7, table for two at the Savoy.

OSU is the 8th best team in the conference. Whether that makes them "garbage" or not just depends on your definition of garbage. But they did get absolutely throttled by OU in the middle of a 1-4 stretch for the team.

OSU is the 8th best team in the conference.

That's just like, your opinion, man.

The funny thing is that, outside of Texas Tech, there isn't much of difference between the Big 12 teams after Kansas and Iowa State and ISU is even kind of suspect now after losing in Lubbock.

So you can say "OSU is 8th best", but that isn't much different than saying "OSU is 3rd best."

But they did get absolutely throttled by OU in the middle of a 1-4 stretch for the team.

OU got throttled by West Virginia in the middle of its current 1-4 stretch. Is OU "garbage?"

Just looks bad. Not the record of a good team. Especially not one who the media keeps talking about as a potential conference champion and high seed in the NCAA Tournament.

I wonder what other teams that are "supposed" to be a 3-5 seed are 12-7, with an under .500 record in their conference at this point in the season?

Pre-season media hype can carry a team a long way. If the team started off at #65 in the nation with no expectations to be good, you would have to think the media and fans would be talking about "the bubble" right now.

Are we still talking ''the bubble" now?

OU has not lost to any of the bottom feeders in the league and they're not going to.

They will sweep the 3 garbage teams OSU, TTU and TCU. They won't get swept by anybody.

ABD tell us again how good the midget is for OSU. lol

1 bottom feeder swept. 2 to go. Should sweep Texas too. Gotta get that game back from KSU in Manhattan. 13-5 could happen, 12-6 is likely and 11-7 at worst.

UPDATE:

14-7 (5-4)

The OU team is capable of winning every remaining home game, even with the likes of WVU, ISU and KU still on tap. It certainly will not be easy, but our guys can still have a special season by running the table at home.

That literally makes no sense. OU was playing terrible ball; West Va was not. So yeah, OU getting beat by 20 at WV during that stretch does not make OU any worse. Conversely, OSU being OU's lone win and by a very comfortable margin in our worst stretch shows what type of team OSU is; the 8th best team in the league. A good league, but let's be clear, there is a big difference between 3rd and 8th. Hell, there is a distinguishable difference between 7th and 8th.

I've got OU finishing the year 5-6, maybe 6-5. Finishing 17/18 - 13/12. And before you scoff at that, remember that this team lost to KSU at home, lost to Creighton, got beat by 21 to WVU, etc. It's not like losing at KSU, OSU, ISU, etc as demonstrated below is beneath them.

They really need to go 4-0 against Tech and TCU, but that game in Forth Worth is scary and crazy things happen every year in Lubbock, TX.

Texas Tech: W
@OSU: L
WVU: W
@TCU: L
Iowa State: L
@KSU: L
Texas: W
@Tech: W
TCU: W
@ISU: L
Kansas: L

Well 1 of these is already wrong, just stop trolling and admit this team is the real deal....just ask ya boy Bob Huggins!

BigABC is just a hater. I don't know why yall listen to him.

If ABD bet sports his wife would leave him.

I've been on this board long enough to take anything ABD says negatively about OU with a grain of salt. He rarely if ever posts positive projections or thoughts regarding the Sooners but is always quick to tell us how good Nebraska, Colorado or TCU is gonna be. This prediction is a complete failure, already 4-0 thru a stretch he predicted 2-2.

Where you at big dog? Every time OU goes on a roll, you always end up hiding like a little hoe.

abd kiss of death contrarian indicator has very high predictive value
