#15 OU at Ole Miss 6:30pm 2/6

I really, really hope we can win this game. Normally I'd say we have more weapons, but i'm looking at their losses and they've all been close losses to solid/great teams. their defense is elite, and as we know ours isn't, and we tend to beat ourselves with our TOs against good defenses. I hope that changes tonight, as we are in desperate need to more quality wins. Plus, we have a losing SEC record of 4-5, and going 4-6 would really be disappointing.

I'm comforted by the fact that we've played them the past 2 seasons and won by 10 both times. Hopefully that's a sign that Jennie sees something that we can game plan against.

So I just tuned in and the commentator said we are without Reagan beers??!! Did she get hurt or something?

The announcer was surprised that it looked like she was not going to play, said he would have to ask Jennie after the game.

My God this team is so bad. 18 turnovers in the first half alone and they're not even on account of tough defending. Literally every other play we throw the ball away because we are just not looking when we pass or trying to do stuff we can continuously cannot do game after game. The entire time our coach sits there squatted not coaching. I suppose she just likes spectating. I don't even want to watch this team anymore because it's pathetic

Up 31-29 at half…we were up by 15 then the flood of turnovers happened. 18 in the first half…truly frustrating to watch.

She needs to bench people after turnovers. Send some kind of message at some point.

66-56 win. Verhulst took over in the 4th quarter and ended the game with 19 points and 10 rebounds. She hit a big 3 to put us up by 4 late then Sahara scored 5 in a row and we were up by 9 and the game was effectively over. Big block by Payton during that run.

The big 3 by Payton

Composure, composure, composure. We were the more composed team in the 4th quarter. They never got into the bonus in the 4th quarter.

I do get tired of playing teams that seem to want to fight at the drop of a hat.

In all 3 games against Ole Miss in the past 3 years, we've either expanded the lead or taken the lead in the 4th quarter to win the games.

I didn't realize that we had so many players who had a mother or grandmother that played at a high level.

Did not see Landry Allen on the bench. Anyone know if she was ill?

The second and third quarters were the worst we’ve played all season. I honestly can’t imagine us playing worse than those 20 mins.

But the first and fourth were very, very good.

Our defense was sooooooo much better than the Kentucky game. We gave up ZERO made 3s! Everyone seemed to be defending much harder.

Culliton really stepped up on the glass without Beers. She got some huge boards and was very strong with them.

Three straight seasons we’ve beaten Ole Miss by exactly 10 points. Interesting. The schedule lightens up a bit now. Onward!

Great way to end the game after some atrocious ball play in the 3rd quarter. And we won without Beers, which tells me that we are capable of playing well without our best player (reminded me of our team last year tbh). Is it just me, or is it almost always our 3 high school All-Americans that play the best against our toughest opponents (Beers, Verhulst & Williams)? That tells me that these HS recruiting/rating services are pretty accurate at projecting talent at the next level.

Now, we should be able to win-out, and definitely win against Auburn, however you just never know with these TOs. Auburn did play South Carolina very tough, so depending on how we play they could even be a challenge for us. This, is the most frustrating thing about being a Sooner wbb fan this season, IMO.

Gotta get a 4 seed and host the 1st round games. Is it doable?
